[Rescue The Pup]

Great game, a little confusing

I'm loving it so far, I'm at the point with the slaughterhouse and the aliens. I've tried everything, but I can't get them to trade the ocean sunfish for anything in my inventory, and I clearly need the ocean sunfish to cross the Bridge of Three Trials. Other than that, amazing game, tear-jerking dialogue, and stunning musical performance.

Minus one star for that awful first level, it's really hard to beat.

I think I found all achievements, but the screen cuts off so I have no way of knowing.

Five stars for a half-baked game

Good concept, poor execution.
To improve:
Improve the art in general
Add more clothing
Make the most recent clothing article you click jump to the front

If you're really serious about this:
Allow users to save their tank man to use in their own custom newgrounds preloaders.

[Memorize game]

If you flip 3 cards, the game becomes unplayable

After flipping 3 cards, every other card I flip almost instantly flips back, making it hard to match anything.

An interesting concept, could have gone further

Personally, a flashlight would have been handy, rather than spamming "light orbs" to navigate. Otherwise a solid game, very few bugs. I did notice that the background tended to disappear after dying a few times though.

Blatant attempted copy of Fancy Pants. How about an original idea instead of "basic platformer I saw somewhere else and thought I could improve from scratch all by myself". But I suppose even for something completely lacking in originality, you've managed to work out most of the bugs. One star for gameplay that doesn't make me want to hurt others....

...the brilliance of that ending. Seriously, this is great stuff, even if it's just a port.

[Breathing Underwater]

Fantastic, Loved the battle with Aquaman!

Honestly, I was confused at first, just as I imagine anyone would be when forced to live underwater for several years, but as soon as I gained the ability to communicate with dolphins, my exp multiplier went up by like 100.
I love the battle engine, too. Who'd have thought you could influence the outcome of an undersea battle by literally pouring water on the keyboard. I didn't even know you could listen for this kind of input with the current ActionScript framework.

In short, an amazing, brilliant game that is easily 50 years ahead of its time! A must-play for fish-lovers and 1800's whaling industry enthusiasts alike!

THIS GAME IS THE NEXT BIOSHOCK!
